Risk Assessment of Shooting Location

The risk matrix is a tool used widely by production companies worldwide and is essential in assessing whether a location is suitable enough for filming and what actions must be taken if something goes wrong. Me and my team conducted our own risk matrix' to ensure that we take every necessary procedure so that the cast and crew do not get hurt or be in danger of getting hurt in the process of filming.

Here is our risk matrix assessment:

Production/Person(s) involved: Layla, Derryl, Nawid, Haroon, Artist, Dancers, Makeup Artist

Shoot Date(s): Friday 5th November
Wednesday 10th November

NATURE OF HAZARD:

A) Loose Wires

B) Tripping over film equipment
whilst filming

C) Overhead lights dropping
the area of the lights.

D) Food/Drink Spillage

E) Crane dropping
from the crane

PREVENTIVE MEASURES:

A) Tie up all loose wires

B) Ensure equipment is only used

C) Keep cast and crew away from the
area of the lights

D) Have cleaning equipment on sight

E) Keep the cast a safe distance away

IF ACCIDENT OCCURS?:

A) Call medical team ASAP

B) Call medical team ASAP

C) Call medical team ASAP

D) Call medical team ASAP

E) Call medical team ASAP
